Description

Program cost: $100

Create large, wearable masks with the versatile mediums of cardstock, reeds, and papier-mâché. Unleash your creativity as you learn to sculpt intricate designs from these materials and create fantastic masks that can be built upon over and over again. This course will inspire artistic expression for artists of any level, professionals, or those new to the idea.

For any students with food allergies, we recommend that students bring their own lunch as we cannot guarantee being able to accommodate all allergies.

Questions & Answers

How do I pay for Summer Camp?: The registration fee must be paid upon registration via credit/debit card.
What books/supplies/tools do I need?: Supplies vary by course but are mostly provided. Any special requests (i.e. headphones) will be communicated by email two weeks before the start of Summer Camp. Please note, some courses do have dress code requirements that will be communicated a few weeks before Summer Camp (please see below). All other materials are provided by GTCC.
Can my child attend all 3 weeks of Summer Camp?: Yes! But please be aware that some programs are offered multiple weeks with the same content. We recommend choosing a different program each week. Please register separately for each week.
Is lunch provided?: Yes! Lunch is provided from 12-12:45 p.m. each day. If students have allergies, we recommend they bring their own lunches. Snacks and beverages can be purchased from vending machines on campus.
Is there a dress code?: Yes, depending on the course. For example: students enrolled in welding must wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. Dress code requirements will be communicated via email 2 weeks before class starts. You can also review the course descriptions for specifics for each class.
Can students drive themselves to GTCC for Summer Camps?: If a parent or guardian has signed off on the registration form, students may drive themselves. However, all students should sign in each day with their instructors.
My child is no longer able to attend Summer Camps. Can I receive a refund?: Refunds will be offered up to two weeks in advance of the start date of Summer Camp. Please email summercamp@gtcc.edu for a refund. Please allow up to four to six weeks to receive your refund.
