Explore what it really takes to become an entrepreneur in this interactive and engaging event designed to inspire and inform.
The experience begins with a panel of local entrepreneurs who will share honest insights about the realities of owning a business—the wins, the challenges, and everything in between. Through moderated discussion and audience questions, students will gain practical, real-world perspectives you won’t find in a textbook.
The second half of the event features a hands-on entrepreneurial activity led by Dr. Joy Lough, Entrepreneurship faculty at GTCC. Students will actively work through their own ideas, apply key concepts, and build confidence in entrepreneurial thinking.
Students will leave with a clearer understanding of entrepreneurship, meaningful takeaways from experienced business owners, and opportunities to connect and network in an informal setting. Whether you have a business idea or are simply curious, this event offers insight, experience, and inspiration.
