Join us for a dynamic three-day exploration designed exclusively for high school students! Dive into an exciting opportunity to experience firsthand the vast world of programs and careers awaiting beyond high school. Set during your high school spring break period, this event promises an engaging and informative journey into your potential future.
Interactive Workshops: Participate in hands-on workshops led by industry professionals and passionate educators in fields ranging from digital arts, science, and technology to business and healthcare. Each workshop is designed to give you a taste of what it’s like to work in various careers, with activities that mirror real-world job tasks.
Students will be able to choose from these technical fields: Automotive Ford ASSET Program, Automotive Systems Technology, Collision Repair, Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Support, Cyber Security, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Fire Protection Technology, Manufacturing Technology - Machining, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Assisting, Nursing Assistant, Physical Therapy Assisting, and Welding Technology.
Career Exploration Panels: Hear from successful professionals about their career journeys, challenges, and strategies to overcome them. Our panels include diverse professions, providing valuable insights into each career path.
Learn about GTCC: Get a feel for campus life and learn about our programs to help you make informed decisions about your education and career.
Networking Opportunities: Connect with peers who share your interests and ambitions and educators and professionals who can offer guidance and mentorship. This is your chance to build relationships that could shape your future.

No. Students are responsible for their own transportation. Students must be picked up by 3:30 pm each day.
A continental breakfast is provided before the day starts and a lunch is also provided during the day.
Yes, parking is available for attendees if needed. Attendees can park in any non-faculty/staff designated parking space in Lot B, outside of the Applied Technology Building.
You will not need to bring any special materials for this event. All necessary materials will be provided for you.
Due to the nature of some of this event's activities, we ask that all attendees please wear close-toe shoes and long pants (ex. jeans). Please dress appropriately for the weather.
